Information CAPSULA uses

CAPSULA is designed to work without requiring your real name, email address, or a traditional account.

• Leaderboard identity: if you use leaderboards, CAPSULA creates an anonymous installation-specific identifier and lets you choose a public callsign.
• Run and leaderboard data: eligible leaderboard submissions can include score, emails processed, streak, accuracy, peak multiplier, run timing, game version, and a snapshot of the System Mods used in an Endless run.
• Local game data: game progress, settings, unlocks, pending leaderboard submissions, ad-frequency state, and related preferences may be stored on your device.
• Operational data: the leaderboard service may process technical request information needed for security, abuse prevention, reliability, and rate limiting.

Leaderboards

CAPSULA uses a Cloudflare Worker and Cloudflare D1 database to provide global All-Time, Weekly, and Daily leaderboards. Public leaderboard information can include your callsign, rank, score, run statistics, and Endless build snapshot.

CAPSULA does not publicly display your private anonymous credential, device identifier, IP address, authentication token, or payment information.

Advertising

CAPSULA may use Google AdMob to show occasional interstitial advertisements in the free version of the game. Ads are intended to appear only at natural breaks, not during active gameplay.

The launch configuration is designed for non-personalized advertising and does not intentionally request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission or access IDFA. Google and its partners may still process information such as IP-derived general location, device or app identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash diagnostics, and performance information as permitted by your consent choices, applicable law, and Google's services.

Where required, CAPSULA uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect or manage privacy choices before requesting ads.

Remove Ads purchase

CAPSULA offers a one-time Apple In-App Purchase called Remove Ads Forever. Apple StoreKit processes the transaction. CAPSULA does not receive or store your credit card, bank account, or other payment-card information.

The game checks verified StoreKit entitlement information on your device to determine whether the ad-free purchase is owned.

Data sharing

CAPSULA does not sell your leaderboard identity or gameplay data. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the app, including Apple for In-App Purchases, Google for advertising and consent, and Cloudflare for leaderboard and hosting infrastructure.

Your choices

• You may choose not to use the public leaderboard.
• You may change your public callsign subject to the game's rules.
• Where required, advertising privacy choices can be managed through the privacy controls provided in the app.
• You may purchase Remove Ads Forever to disable forced interstitial ads.
• You can clear local app data or uninstall the app, although doing so may remove installation-local data and access to an anonymous leaderboard identity that has no account recovery.

Children

CAPSULA is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Age-rating, advertising, and audience settings will be configured for the final App Store release.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as CAPSULA changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
